THE ARTIST

Stacey Baumgardner was born in Los Gatos, California. A self-taught artist, she began to paint seriously in 1980 under the tutelage of Hillary Jones Wujcik of Tucson, Arizona. Stacey's early interests included drawing and sketching, for which she showed remarkable talent, along with writing and illustrating children's stories.

A strong sense of decorative design coupled with an innate understanding of watercolors and a desire to entertain visually are the obvious trademarks of Stacey's work.

Now with the increase in public demand for her original watercolors, this gifted artist has put together an original lithographic collection of her most popular paintings. Stacey's work can be viewed in fine art galleries nationwide. She has earned a prominent position at the forefront of today's collector art scene.
